Applicants must satisfy the exact professional, academic, and executive experience qualifications stipulated by the SLTB Board of Directors:
- Deputy General Manager (Finance) [HM 1-3]: Degree in Accountancy / Financial Management / Business Administration / Commerce with a relevant Master’s degree OR Associate/Fellow Membership of a recognized Chartered Professional Institute, along with at least 17 years of managerial experience in the public sector or a recognized corporate entity.
- Deputy General Manager (Technical) [HM 1-3]: Degree in Mechanical / Motor Engineering with Associate Membership of IESL (Chartered Engineer) OR Full (Fellow) Membership of IESL, plus at least 17 years of managerial experience in a relevant technical field.
- Chief Internal Auditor [HM 1-1]: Relevant academic degree with a postgraduate qualification/Associate Membership OR Full (Fellow) Chartered Professional Membership, alongside a minimum of 15 years of relevant managerial experience.
- Assistant General Manager (Vehicle Fleet Maintenance) [HM 1-1]: Degree in Mechanical / Motor Vehicles / Engineering Science with a Master's degree or IESL Associate Membership OR Fellow Membership of IESL (Chartered Engineer), backed by at least 15 years of managerial experience.
- Assistant General Manager (Procurement) [HM 1-1]: Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Accountancy / Finance / Business Administration with a relevant Master’s degree OR Chartered Professional Membership, alongside at least 15 years of managerial experience.
- Manager (Maintenance / Production) [MM 1-3]: Relevant Engineering degree with 4 years post-qualifying experience and IESL Chartered status, OR NVQ Level 7 qualification with 4 years of post-qualifying experience in the relevant industrial/automotive discipline.
- Manager (Civil Engineering) [MM 1-3]: Civil Engineering degree with 4 years post-qualifying experience and Chartered Engineer status (IESL), OR Associate Member of IESL with at least 4 years of relevant field experience.
- Superintendent (Central Bus Office) [JM 1-1]: Bachelor's degree in Business Management / Business Administration / Human Resource Management (HRM) / Transport & Logistics Management from a UGC-recognized university.
- Assistant Depot Superintendent (Maintenance) [MA 3]: Relevant Engineering degree OR NVQ Level 7 / NVQ Level 6 / NVQ Level 5 with 5 to 10 years of verified technical experience depending on the baseline certification level.
Candidates must generally not be more than 45 years of age on the closing date. However, this upper age barrier does not apply to confirmed officers currently serving in the Government Service, Provincial Public Service, State Corporations, or Statutory Boards.
